Qualifications and Training

Full registration as a Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

Graduate Diploma of Psychological Science, Bond University

Bachelor of Science (Psychology), University of Southern Queensland (USQ)

Diploma in Psychological Therapies, The Association for Psychological Therapies (APT). Cassie has pursued post-graduate training in the following therapeutic modalities:

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
  • Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)
  • Solution Focused Therapy (SFT)
  • Acceptance and Commitment therapy (ACT), and
  • Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT)

Meet Cassie

Cassie Kroesen is a personable, down-to-earth, and dedicated registered psychologist with extensive experience supporting adults, adolescents, and children across a wide range of mental health concerns. Cassie works with private clients, individuals accessing therapy through a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP), and NDIS participants. She is passionate about helping individuals build resilience, improve emotional wellbeing, and achieve lasting personal growth through evidence-based, person-centred care. She provides psychological therapy for participants with a wide range of disabilities, including psychosocial, developmental, cognitive, and neurological conditions.

Cassie completed her post graduate studies at Bond University on the Gold Coast and regularly pursues professional development opportunities to expand and refine her professional knowledge and skills, and to keep abreast of developing therapeutic techniques.
